Sending Broadcast Messages (SMS) To Customers
The days of paper and TV ads are over. In today’s world, all your customers are just a click away.
Today we’ll be going over the SMS messaging feature in Ordrslip Admin Dashboard. With this feature you have the ability to contact any customers ordered from your app. Whether this is a customer who ordered within the past 90 days, recently, all or new signups. You can immediately communicate with your customers, or schedule multiple messages in events along with the added bonus of eliminating the price of TV and paper ads. This goes straight to their phones and guarantees it will get seen by your customers!
To set this up you will:
- Click Marketing
- Click Messages
- Click SMS Messages
Click the add new button to begin creating your messages
You will then see all of the options to configure
Select the date and time you want your message to go out
Schedule it ahead if you'd like
Type your message out (160 character limit)
Select the user base you want your sms message to go out to
You can choose all customers for a certain location
Recent customers of a certain location
ALL signups
Recent signups
Finally select which location's customer base you want this sms message to pull from
Click the red Save Changes button when you are done
You will then see your message appear in the scheduled SMS Messages area
You can click on it and edit (or delete) it before it gets sent out
Once it is sent, it will appear in the list of sent out SMS Messages
By clicking View, you can see the stats for the SMS Messages you have sent in the past
TIPS
We recommend that you take the time out of each month to schedule broadcast messages in advance. Second, go ahead and This feature is a great way to advertise special hours, items on your menu, and promo codes!
