Registering Your Account & Connecting Ordrslip's Online Ordering To Your POS

Now that you have signed your contract, you are ready to begin the setup process for your mobile app or Online Ordering site. 

The first thing you will do is register your account with Ordrslip, then you will connect your POS to Ordrslip. This article walks you through these steps. 


Registering Your Account 

To register your account, click this link and follow the prompts pictured below. 

You will be brought to the page below, please fill out all of the fields in the form and click create account.

You will then receive an email confirming that you just signed up for Ordrslip's mobile app or Online Ordering site. 



After clicking create account, you will be redirected to your POS platform to connect it with Ordrslip.
Below is a Square example. 

You are automatically redirected to connect your POS with Ordrslip

Connect Ordrslip With Your POS

Click sign in and you'll see the below image showing that you need to allow Ordrslip permission to integrate with your Square account. 
To do this, click ALLOW



After this you will be guided through Ordrslip's setup process with your POS.


Select your location(s) and toggle it to be enabled and click save locations




You will then need to select the categories you want enabled (and visible) on your online ordering site
Select all of the Category menu items you wish to appear.
Categories are used to group menu items together to better organize your menu for your customers.
Ex: Salads, Soups, Appetizers, etc.
Once you are finished, click the save categories button 


Select all of the Modifiers for the menu items you wish to appear. Modifiers are used to customize a menu item.
Ex: A customer has a gluten allergy, they can choose an alternative bread option.
Once you are finished, click the save modifiers button 


You'll see a Getting Started page (you can click save & exit at any point)
Click the Get Started button to proceed 



Fill out the Company Overview section (you can click save & exit at any point) 
Click Next once you are done filling this section out

Set your Location's Hours  (you can click save & exit at any point) 
Click Next




Review your store's menu. If you just signed up, you likely will not have a menu created and nothing will appear.
 If you have made changes in your POS account since sign up, click the red sync button to pull those changes over.
You can click save & exit at any point.
Click Next once you are finished with this step. 



Configure the design for your online ordering site in real-time.
Upload your branding and you will see a mockup of what your online ordering site design will look like on a mobile device. 
You will need: 
  1. A logo in png format sized to 300px by 300px 
  2. An app icon in png format sized to 1024px by 1024px
  3. A background image in png format sized to 2732px by 2732px (images that are vertical are ideal)
Choose the colors of your online ordering site
As you make your selections, watch your choices appear on the mockup in real-time
Click the icons at the bottom of the phone view how your selections will look, like font color, primary color, etc.

You can click save & exit at any point.

If you are unhappy with how the images you are uploading are appearing, please email our support team at support@ordrslip.com, they will ask for you to send over all of the branding that you have so that they can assist you. Whether that is resizing images for you or anything else. They will respond within 48 hours. 

Click Next once you are finished with this step and are happy with your design. 


Review and submit all of the information you just set up

Click Submit App when you are done




After that, you should be able to access your online ordering site on mobile, tablet or desktop devices. 
The url of your online ordering site will be:
your restaurant name, with dashes in-between each word followed by .ordrsliponline.com.
For example, if you just created an account using the restaurant name " Ordrslice Pizzeria " then your online ordering site that you would type/embed into your website and social media would be:
ordrslice-pizzaeria.ordrsliponline.com

If you are having issues accessing your online ordering site after setup is complete, or at any point, please email our support team at support@ordrslip.com. They will respond within 48 hours.
